Ross Taylor, the right-handed veteran batsman from New Zealand had a good stint with the bat against Team India in the recently concluded T20I series, although his side had to suffer a whitewash. He is one of those players, who looks quite cool on and off the field. Recently, he gave a perfect example for the same in the post-match interview of the 5th T20I.

India won the T20I series against New Zealand by 5-0. This was a historic win for the Men in Blue against the Black Caps. The hosts were under serious pressure throughout the series after Indian players came out all guns blazing in every respective department from the beginning. On the other hand, the hosts felt the absence of a match finisher in their team. They lost a couple of games in Super Over followed by a close defeat in the 5th T20I by seven runs. Instead of losing the T20I series by 5-0, they had a chance to win it by at least 3-2.

Ross Taylor can speak Hindi too!

There was one player in Kiwis dugout, who performed splendidly well with the bat irrespective of the fact that his team ended up on the losing end. Taylor managed to pull off two fifties in five games at a strike rate of 139. However, his critics bashed him upside down as he failed to make his side win against Virat Kohli and Co. In the final T20I at Mount Maunganui, he muscled 53 runs with five boundaries and two sixes. But, his brilliant effort went in vain as no lower-order batsman could click a good knock with the bat.

There is a clip that has started making rounds on social media in which a cameraperson asks Taylor to reposition himself for the interview in order to perfectly capture him in the camera. The Kiwi batsman came up with a pleasant reply saying ‘Theek hai’ in (Hindi). Soon a reporter asked him if he can question him in the Hindi language. Taylor responded in a hilarious fashion that he will answer in Hindi too then.

New Zealand will host India for a 3-match ODI series that will get kicked off from the 5th of February at Seddon Parkin, Hamilton followed by the next games in Auckland and Mount Maunganui. After that, both the teams will lock horns in two Tests.
