Candice Warner also added that there were times when she wondered as to when all this was coming to an end.
Candice Warner, the wife of Australian cricketer David Warner has revealed that there were days when she would be driving her car, but would completely break down because she and her kids did not get to spend time with her husband.
Candice also added that there were times when she wondered as to when all this was coming to an end. Mrs. Warner also said that David is both her husband as well as her best friend, and she turns to him for support.
“We all have our weaknesses, our moments. And there’s been time where… I’ve been driving and I just break down into tears. Or my kids are in the back screaming. I’m just like, ‘When is this going to end? It’s difficult because he’s your husband and your best friend. And that’s the person who you turn to normally,” said Candice Warner according to the Daily Mail.
David Warner should open for Australia in the best possible headspace: Candice Warner
Candice Warner further said that her husband David needs to be in the best headspace and be totally ‘clear minded’ when he walks out to open the batting for the Australian side. Candice concluded by stating that her husband need not hear complaints from her.
“He needs to be focused, clear minded and go out you know, opening the batting for Australia in the best possible headspace. So that’s where it’s a challenge. ‘He doesn’t need to hear from me going, ‘the kids are this, the kids are that,’ but, at the same time, he’s my husband,” concluded Candice Warner.
David Warner scored a valuable 94 for the Australian side on Day 2 of the 1st Ashes Test match against England. The left-hander struck 11 fours and 2 sixes in his enterprising innings to help Australia dominate the proceedings.
