8. Tillakaratne Dilshan (Sri Lanka) 500 runs – 2011 World Cup

Tillakaratne Dilshan was a major contributor to the largely successful Sri Lankan 2011 World cup campaign. He scored exactly 500 runs at an average of 62.50 with 2 centuries and a highest score of 144 against Zimbabwe.

Dilshan and Mahela Jayawardene were instrumental with support from Kumar Sangakkara and Upul Tharanga in getting Sri Lanka into the finals against India.
