Top 10 Best Bowling Figures On ODI Debut
1. Kagiso Rabada (South Africa) – 6 for 16:
South Africa debuted a new pacer Kagiso Rabada against Bangladesh in the 1st ODI of the series, bowling first. The pacer was right on the money from the start of his spell, which was going to be a 8 overs spell as it was a 40 overs per side match. Rabada first bowled Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal for a duck, to start his striking spree. He then got rid of Litton Das and Mahmudullah on the next two balls to complete a hat-trick on debut.
The match which started on a wonderful note for the pacer, kept getting better as he also grabbed a fifer in his maiden game for South Africa. By the end of his spell, the figures read: 8-3-16-6. One of the finest bowling performances we have seen a debutant delivering in ODI cricket
