Sarfraz Nawaz is the second best ranked bowler in the list of top 10 bowlers with most wickets in the fourth innings. He is known to be one of the early exponents of reverse swing who played for Pakistan. In 1979 series of Australia he took 9/86 against Australia to grant Pakistan a surprise victory over the 4 time world champs. Nawaz’s looks deceived quite a lot, with him looking nothing more than a medium pacer. But he had a really strong body and a good action that allowed him to bowl with pace. In the flat tracks of Pakistan he could make the ball swing, seam and bounce rather awkwardly causing troubles to most of the opposition batsmen.
