Top 10 Captains With Most Matches in T20 Internationals: Captaincy is obviously an art, especially when it comes to Cricket. Throughout the years, we have seen a number of great captains. But in T20 internationals, there is always very small margin available for the skippers to take their teams past the victory line. Of late, right in the first T20I against South Africa, MS Dhoni achieved the feat of captaining his side for 50 T20 internationals. This is the highest by any player in this particular format. West Indies clinched the World Cup in 2012 under his leadership, defeating Sri Lanka in the final. In a total of 41 T20 internationals, Sammy has brought his team victory on 22 occasions. He has been an entertaining contender of the game and has led his side as an example. 2. William Porterfield – 41 Matches: William Porterfield. Porterfield has led his side on a total of 41 matches and Ireland was victorious on 21 times out of that. Porterfield holds a decent win percentage of 55.26. 1.
