6. Chris Gayle – 50 balls vs SA, 2007

This was the first match in the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007. Gayle took the South African bowlers for a ride and scored a ton off 50 balls. He is thus he joint number fifth along with McCullum. West Indies though lost the match, but Gayle’s knock was one to savour.
