Ben Dunk recently broke the record for the highest score in Australian List A when he scored a blistering 229 unbeaten. He broke the record of late Phillip Hughes who scored 202* against South Africa A.
Queensland put in Tasmania in to bat after winning the toss and Tasmania scored a mammoth 398-1 after their 50 overs ended. Ben Dunk scored a record 229* with 15 fours and 13 sixes. He was ably supported by Tim Paine who scored 125 off just 127 balls.
But his record went in vain, when Queensland hauled the score with the help of centuries from Usman Khwaja (166) and Chris Hartley (142) in 47 overs. Queensland made 402 runs and won the match by 7 wickets.
