Top 10 Highest individual scores in ODIs
7. Charles Coventry – 194*:
Zimbabwean middle order batsman, Charles Coventry got into limelight after he broke Saeed Anwar’s record for highest individual score in 2009 against Bangladesh. Coming in to bat at number 3, Coventry hit 7 sixes and 16 fours in his innings of 194* which came in 156 balls. His heroics enabled Zimbabwe score in excess of 300 as they posted 312. Coventry was, however, unlucky as his efforts went in vain as Bangladesh chased down the score with 4 wickets in hand. It was Tamim Iqbal’s 154 that overshadowed Coventry’s efforts.
