8. Saeed Anwar – 194:
Pakistani opener Saeed Anwar is most notably known for his knock of 194 against India in 1997. He held the record for highest individual score in ODIs for about 12 years. Anwar’s 194 took Pakistan’s total to 327. In the 19th over, Anwar struggled to run and Afridi was his runner till the end of the innings. Anwar hit 5 sixes and 22 boundaries to reach the score in 146 balls. He was unlucky to have missed out on an ODI double as Sachin Tendulkar got his wicket in the fag end of the game. Pakistan won the match by 35 runs.
