Rajkot pitch is known to produce runs by megatons as the pitch is the most flattest in the world.  India batted first and scored 414/7 with Virender Sehwag 146, Dhoni scoring 72 off 53. Sri Lanka gave a hell of a chase with Tillakaratne Dilshan scoring 160 and Kumar Sangakkara scoring 90 off just 43 balls. Angelo Mathews’ 38 could not get Sri Lanka past the finish line and lost by 3 runs.
