7. Conrad Hunte & Garfield Sobers – 446 v Pakistan:
Sir Conrad Hunte, in his debut series, put on 446 runs for the 2nd wicket with Sir Garfield Sobers against Pakistan in 1958. The partnership was then the second-highest partnership in history and is still the sixth highest. The partnership was broken when Hunte was run out on 260. Sir Garfield Sobers went on to make a triple hundred (365*) and became the 7th batsman in the history of the game to score a triple century and the first West Indian to do so. West Indies went on to win the match by an innings and 174 runs.
