9. Australia 417/6 vs Afghanistan Perth, World Cup 2015
Australia broke the highest score record in World Cup history when they made 417/6 against Afghanistan in Perth. Previous record was held by India who scored 413/5 against Bermuda in 2007 World Cup. David Warner was the star of the show with his 178 (133 balls 19 fours 5 sixes) and his 260 run second wicket partnership with Steven Smith (95). Glen Maxwell (88 off 39 balls 7×6) gave the impetus to the innings in the final overs.
