5. Optus Cricket Stadium

With a seating capacity of 60000, the Optus cricket stadium in Australia bags the fifth spot. The stadium hosted its first international match in the year 2018 as Australia thrashed India by 146 runs in a Test match. The Optus stadium has so far hosted 2 Tests, 2 ODI’s and 1 T20I.

The highest team total at the Optus stadium in Test cricket is 416 by Australia against New Zealand in the year 2019. It was in that same match that Marnus Labuschagne smashed 143 runs, to help Australia win the match by a margin of 296 runs. As far as ODI cricket is concerned, the highest team total on this ground is 259 by England against Australia in the year 2018. The record for the highest individual score on this ground is held by Marcus Stoinis when he scored 87 in the same game.

The Optus cricket stadium is the second stadium to be built in Perth, with the first one being the famous WACA Ground.
