Without any doubt, Ricky Ponting is the man who has been the most successful captain in International Cricket. He led Australia in 324 matches at a win/loss ratio of 2.857 to 220 wins. Ponting led Australia to 48 Test wins in 77 matches at a win loss ratio of 3. As ODI captain, he was on the winning side on 165 times out of 225 matches, the most wins for any captain in ODIs. One of his ODI wins came for ICC World XI against Asia XI. He has also seen his team winning on 7 occasions in T20Is.
