3. Geoffery Boycott – 39 years and 51 days:
Geoffery Boycott who is currently working as a commentator, once while playing for England at an age of 39 years and 51 days scored a century against Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground in 1979. He had scored 105 runs in that match. Boycott is known as one of England’s most successful opening batsmen. He was known as typical Test batsman during his time who could bat for hours and hours in Test cricket, but he had also proved his worth as a limited overs batsman in the limited opportunities that he got to represent England in ODIs. He had played 36 ODI matches for England in which he had made 1082 runs at an average of 36.06 by scoring one century and nine fifties.
