Top 10 Players To Look Out For In CPL 2015: The Caribbean Premier League’s 3rd season set to take off in a couple of days with a set off international stars and local talents eagerly waiting to put on some real good performances. Here we look at few star players and young players from Caribbean Islands from whom you might expect in the upcoming CPL season. Here are the Top 10 Players To Look Out For In CPL 2015. 10 – Evin Lewis: Evin Lewis. (Photo Source: BCCI) The Trinidad & Tobago opening batsman, Evin Lewis made his mark by standing in the top 5 run scorers list during Champions League T20 in 2013 where he scored 211 runs in 5 games. He continued his good scorers around the shortest format of the game when he made into top run scorers for the last season’s CPL T20 with 321 runs in 8 games. The Left handed batsmen who plays for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots has proved to be a decent striker of the ball and a consistent performer in T20s who can once again top the run-scorers charts in CPL. 9 – Miguel Cummins: Miguel Cummins. Cummins has a decent record in First Class cricket but his Twenty20 record isn’t up to the mark. He would like to put on some good performances for his side Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel during this tournament and make into selection contention for national squad. 8 – Veerasammy Permaul: Veerasammy Permaul. He could turn out dangerous on the slow wickets used in the tournament for the Guyana Amazon Warriors. 7 – Shahid Afridi: Shahid Afridi. The Pakistani all rounder can bowl his 4 overs quota producing important breakthroughs along with controlling runs. With bat he can deliver a quick fire knock at any position he bats. He would be featuring in CPL for St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and we can expect him to play a key role for his side with his all round skills. 6 – Kevin Pietersen: Kevin Pietersen. Later he performed well for RCB in the IPL and later flied to England for T20 Blast where he scored 338 runs in just 3 games including an unbeaten 152. He continued his dream run and ended last year’s CPL T20 as top run scorer. Even in this year’s IPL he end as MI’s top scorer and 2nd in overall and led its team’s turn around after no been part of team in early matches. Russell with his hard hitting ability can change course of the game and well end up as a partnership breaker with the ball.
