The former Australian skipper, who led Australia to two successful World Cup campaigns, Ricky Ponting has played 560 international matches. With 27,483 runs in international cricket, Ponting has 41 Test centuries to his name, the most by any Australian player. He has 62 fifties to go with his 41 Test tons. His greatest strength lied in the fact that he could switch well between the different formats of the game. He has scored 82 fifties and 30 hundreds in ODIs at an average of 42.03. He has two fifties in the T20Is as well which includes his top score of an unbeaten 98 against New Zealand, a match that was the first ever T20 international match played in 2005.
