In cricket, when a player gets a chance to bat, he looks to contribute big to his team. But sometimes, the contrary happens as he/she gets dismissed for a duck.

For any batter, losing a wicket on zero is no less than a nightmare as he/she always strives to deliver his/her best to the team. Nowadays, with the presence of T20 Internationals (T20Is), it has become mandatory for batters to score runs swiftly, and this thing sometimes proves a bane for batters as they lose their wickets without scoring any runs in a haste.

However, some names such as David Miller, MS Dhoni, and Shoaib Malik boast their batting capability, making it to the list of T20I batters with the most consecutive innings without a duck. Similarly, some cricketing legends have proven their brilliance with their bats by maintaining this incredible streak in all forms of the sport.

Here are 10 batters with the most consecutive innings without a duck:

Sir Clive Lloyd is considered the most successful captain in the history of One Day cricket along with Australia’s Ricky Ponting. Under his leadership, the Caribbean team won the World Cup twice in 1975 and 1979. Along with captaincy, Lloyd was also known for his remarkable batting skills.

With his outstanding batting talent, Lloyd established himself as a reliable middle-order batter in the Windies team. In 197 international contests, he scored 9,492 runs with 20 centuries and 50 half-centuries. From December 29, 1979, to August 9, 1984, the former legendary batter aggregated 3,670 runs in 98 innings of 93 matches, without getting out for a naught.

In his 19 years of international career, Lloyd lost his wicket on zero only five times. The former Windies player received knighthood for his service to the sport from the Duke of Cambridge Prince William at the Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom (UK) in January 2022.
