The star batter Virat Kohli has delivered a lot of powerful shows with his bat to India in his career. Currently, he is the most successful batter in international cricket and his numbers in all three forms of the sport corroborate the fact. In December 2022, he shattered the former Australia captain Ricky Ponting's record of 71 centuries scoring his 72nd international ton against Bangladesh in the Chittagong ODI.

Now, after witnessing their batting maestro regaining form, his fans are expecting him to be spunky and consistent with his bat. From 2014-18, Kohli shone in international cricket as he registered tons of batting records to his name. From August 30, 2014, to February 9, 2017, Kohli amassed 5,520 runs in 104 innings of 90 matches.

During this period, he consistently scored runs and maintained his record of not getting dismissed for a duck. However, he couldn’t keep the streak intact as Australia speedster Mitchell Starc scalped his wicket on zero in the Pune Test in February 2017.  So far, the veteran has got dismissed for a duck 33 times in his international career.
