One of the most underrated batsmen of the modern era, his batting stats are no less than the likes of Virat Kohli & Ab De Villiers. He has been instrumental to the success of South Africa in the last decade.

Hashim Amla scored 25 runs off 244 balls with a strike rate of just above 10. This innings came against India in 2015 when South Africa was looking to draw the test match on a spinning Delhi wicket.

He along with AB De Villiers showed immense patience in the middle. At one time, it was looking that Amla & De Villiers would keep blocking the Indian bowlers throughout the day & pull off a draw from the jaws of defeat. Eventually, India won the match by a mammoth 337 runs.
