Winning a 5-day match from its inception till today is among the most cherished and satisfying feelings for every team. While losing one is as demoralizing as it can be. It takes a complete team effort for most part of the 5 days for them to emerge victorious; while the heavy weights have been able to win tons of Test matches, they have lost on quite a few occasions as well. They hardly managed to even draw Tests and kept on losing despite playing well on a number of occasions. In a total of 93 Tests, they have lost 71 matches. They have won 127 Tests in the history of the game; which is more than the number of matches they have won. The Indian team has struggled to perform overseas for most part of their cricketing history and that is where the chunk of their losses have come. 4. New Zealand – 163 Losses: New Zealand. Though there was no lack of quality players, or talent in the team. But still, they failed to convert things well as a unit for most of the times. They suffered 163 losses in a total of 404 matches with just 81 victories. However, the recent prospects of the team seem to improve this record in the days to follow. 3.
