Top 10 Wicket Keepers with most centuries in international cricket: Like a ‘Goal-Keeper’ in football the ‘Wicket Keeper’ is one of the most influential and important player in the game of cricket. A keeper catches everything a bowler throws at him. We have seen some brilliant skills from some great keepers over the years like Adam Gilchrist and more recently, AB de Villiers. But keeping is just one of the skills that makes them good, its their batting contributions towards their respective teams that make them truly great.

10. Matt Prior (England) – 7 centuries:

The English wicket keeper batsman who recently announced his retirement from all forms of cricket is the first English wicket-keeper to hit a century in his debut match. Matt Prior hit 126 in his debut match in 2007 and played an important role in the England team. His keeping skills were often criticized but he was a regular in the England line up for most part of his career. He has hit a total of 7 centuries in a career spanning from 2006 till 2014. He also managed to score 31 fifties in his long Test career.
