In the recent years, Jasprit Bumrah has emerged as India’s gun bowler in all the three formats of the game. Bumrah, also known as Yorker King, belongs to that rare breed of fast bowlers who know how to constantly bowl at a speed of 150 kmph and above.
The right-arm fast bowler, hailing from Ahmedabad had registered the fastest delivery of his cricket career during India tour of Australia. Bumrah had set the speedometer on fire in the first Test of the four-match Test series against Australia in 2018 at Adelaide Oval as one of his balls had clocked 153 km/hr. The Indian seamer had scalped 6 wickets in that fixture.
India had registered their first Test series victory on Australian soil in 2018-19 and Jasprit Bumrah played an instrumental role in that. Bumrah was the joint-highest wicket-taker with Australian spinner Nathan Lyon in the 2018 Test series.
