Calum MacLeod, the youngest Scottish cricketer to make an ODI debut, struck a highly carved innings of 175 in 141 balls against Canada in 2014. He became the second highest scorer among the associate players in the process. The match was special for the reason that it was a World Cup qualifier game being played at a neutral venue, Christchurch. MacLeod, who opened the innings, hit 14 fours and 5 maximums during his innings to take the Scottish total to 341/9 in 50 overs. In reply, Canada were bowled out for 171 in 39.2 overs and Scotland registered an emphatic win by 170 runs.
