Top 5 lowest totals by Test playing nations in World Cup: The ICC world cup has seen its share of low scores. Most of them are by the minnow teams who are participating in the tournament for the first time or teams who do not play test cricket.

Here are 5 of the lowest scores by the teams who are or became test playing nations later.

5. England 93 vs. Australia Leeds, 1975

The very first semi-final of the very first World cup in 1975 turned out to be a nail-biting affair. Australia bowled England out for 93 runs when they batted first with Gary Gilmour’s 6 wickets for 14 runs.
In reply Australia kept losing their wickets at regular intervals to collapse to 6 for 39. In walked Gary Gilmour to take Australia to victory with unbeaten 28 off 28 balls with 5 boundaries.
Australia won the semi-final with 4 wickets in hand.
