Each year, there are some players who are in immensely great form and hit sixes in a rather perforated way which really amuse the audiences a lot. The list has been endless and the number of hitters in the IPL format which really devastate the opposite team and leave them on their feet begging for mercy. He hit 13 sixes which is truly a very difficult task. He smashed a six almost on every bowler’s ball. Brendon McCullum (13 Sixes)vs RCB (2008): The very first match of the Indian Premier League witnessed a storm which was brought down by Brendon McCullum. It was KKR vs RCB where KKR batted first. Brendon McCullum scored amazing 158 of 73 balls which included 13 sixes. It was the first hundred of IPL in the very first match. This innings guaranteed audience of unlimited entertainment through IPL. His sky touching strokes and hard hits even injured a person in the audience. Such dangerous can Brendon McCullum be at times. His innings of 175 of just 66 balls is memorable. He hit 17 sixes in that match which really stole the hearts of the audience. This is the highest score in IPL by any batsmen and highest in the T20 format of the game. This innings nicknamed Gayle, “The Gayle Storm”. It was against Pune Warriors India; he smeared of elegantly and literally devastated them.
