Kyle Abbott at the start of his bowling spell would have been a confident bowler and with a win on mind as South Africa batting first set West Indies a target of 232 to chase in 20 overs in the second T20I at the Wanderers. Yes, Chris Gayle was looked to as a possible threat but who knew we would get to see the Gayle Storm. He absolutely murdered the South African bowlers and Kyle Abott in particular. Every bowler in world cricket would pray never witness something of that sort and the West Indian opener Chris Gayle at his best smashed 90 runs of 41 balls and not only took his team to winning position and help them record the highest successful run chase in T20 cricket but also ensured Kyle Abbott registered the worst bowling figures by a bowler in T20I cricket as he was deposited for 12 fours and 2 sixes in his spell and Abbott returned with the figures of 4-0-68-1 in the end.
