Twitter Reaction: MS Dhoni finishes off with an effortless six
MS Dhoni once again made his fan jump in joy after he hit his trademark last ball six to finish India’s innings. Coming in to bat in the last over, Dhoni did exactly was the fans were expecting from him as he hit an effortlessly looking six much to conclude the innings.
Al-Amin Hossain had done a wonderful job. He choked the run flow in the last over of India’s innings. In addition to it, Hossain also snapped up both Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma in the space of three deliveries. However, Dhoni, who had only two balls in his hand to make an impact left his impression on his fans after hitting the last ball six. He chipped in a quick double off the first ball and then gave the finishing touch. This six not only gave a perfect finish to the Indian innings but also ruined Al-Amin Hossain’s’ brilliant last over.
India were put into bat by the hosts but started off badly, losing Dhawan early. The departure of Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina for cheap scores made everyone worry. However, Rohit Sharma yet again provided an example of his mastery in the limited overs format and cracked a match-defining score of 83 runs off just 55 balls. He began with a well-composed approach and negotiate the early movement which the Bangladeshi bowlers were benefiting from. However, Sharma soon changed the gears and turned at his aggressive best top push India’ s run rate in the last 10 overs. Hardik Pandya also played an awesome knock of 31 runs laced with 4 fours and 1 six to propel India to a par score of 166/6 after.
