India finished Day 3 of the fourth Test against England in the driver’s seat as they were 40/0 chasing a target of 192 in the fourth innings. Openers Rohit Sharma (24* off 27) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (16* off 21) batted through the tricky period in the final session to bring India in a good position in the game.

England came out to build on their 46-run first innings lead, however, their plans were shattered by Ravichandran Ashwin who left them at 65/3. He got good support from Kuldeep Yadav who picked up 4/22 to bundle out England for 145. Zak Crawley was the top scorer for England with his knock of 60 (91).

Jurel unfortunately missed out on converting his maiden fifty into a hundred getting dismissed for 90 by Tom Hartley. As a result, India got all out for 307 trailing England by 46 runs in the first innings.
