Let us take a look at the highlights from RR vs RCB Eliminator match:
1. Virat Kohli orchestrates a magical runout
Cameron Green commenced the over by delivering a back-of-the-length ball, to which Riyan Parag responded by pulling in front of the square. However, the young RR batter encountered Virat Kohli, who quickly retrieved the ball and executed a commendable run out from the deep. The throw covered a distance of 19 meters, originating from a point 52 meters away and Dhruv Jurel was short of his crease.
2. DK survives a potential dismissal
Avesh Khan bowled a full and straight delivery that nipped in and hit the Karthik’s pad. There was a significant spike on UltraEdge, making it difficult to determine whether the ball had hit the bat before hitting the pad or if it was the inside edge. However, the close proximity of the ball to the inside edge and the deviation indicated that the bat was involved. Rajasthan Royals mentor Kumar Sangakkara was convinced that it was out. He promptly got up from the dugout and approached the fourth umpire after the decision was turned down.
