Team India and Ireland continued their ongoing T20I series in phenomenal fashion, led by Jasprit Bumrah. India came into the game after winning the first T20I through the DLS method, and in the second game, India came in to bat first after losing the toss.

Opening the innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad propelled India to a good start. Jaiswal scored 18 runs, whereas Gaikwad played a brilliant knock of 58 runs in 43 deliveries. Furthermore, Sanju Samson scored 40 runs in 26 deliveries, and Rinku Singh announced himself on the biggest stage, scoring 38 runs in 21 deliveries. With Shivam Dube adding 22* runs on the board, India posted 185 runs on the board in the first innings.

For Ireland, Barry McCarthy was the highest wicket-taker in the first innings. Taking two wickets and conceding 36 runs in four overs. Mark Adair, Craig Young, and Ben White took one wicket each.

Andy Balbirnie’s knock in vain as Ireland succumb to series loss

Aiming to chase down a target of 186 runs, Ireland got off to a brilliant start to the game as Andy Balbirnie scored 72 runs in 51 deliveries to propel his side to the best start. However, the rest of the batting lineup could not add much, as Paul Stirling and Lorcan Tucker were sent packing for a duck.

Through some effort by the middle order, Ireland managed to score 152 runs in the second innings, but fell short of the target. India won the game by 33 runs and clinched the three-match series by winning the first two games.

Ravi Bishnoi, Prasidh Krishna, and Jasprit Bumrah were the highest wicket-takers for the visitors in the second innings, taking two wickets each. The Indian bowling attack overpowered Ireland's batters throughout the game as India clinched the series.
