Twitter Reactions: India v South Africa 2nd day,1st Test: India in driver seat: India took the day 2 honours, as Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli sealed India’s fate in a familiar fashion. Cheteshwar Pujara remained unbeaten on 63*, courtesy 6 boundaries and a towering six, while Virat Kohli found his touch back, staying on 11* not out.
For South Africa, Vernon Philander and Imran Tahir picked up 1 wicket each.
Earlier in the day, South Africa were bowled out for 184, as India took a slender lead of 17 runs. The Indian spinners took all the 10 wickets, with Ashwin leading the pack with 5-51, while Jadeja bagged 3 and Amit Mishra scalped 2 wickets in the proceedings.
AB de Villiers top-scored for South Africa with 63, while Hashim Amla missed out on a fifty by 7 runs.
Apart from these two, the visitors struggled to read the Indian spinners on a tricky pitch, as India sealed day 2 honours.
