Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the nuptial knot away from India and the eyes of the media in Milan, Italy. While the speculations were ripe, Virat and Anushka both turned to their social media accounts to announce their marriage to the world. Among those who congratulated the duo from the cricketing fraternity was English cricketer Danielle Wyatt.

Wyatt wasn’t a popular name in India until the women’s cricketer decided to propose to India’s batting star Virat Kohli back in 2014 in front of the world on Twitter. She was in awe with the class of batting Virat displayed and hence expressed it in a rather extreme way. Once Virushka were married all his fangirls were subject to a similar question, asking their response, are you heartbroken, did you cry, etc.

As soon as the news reached her, Wyatt decided to congratulate the couple and posted a message for them.

Virat and the English cricketer did have a chance to meet once and the Indian skipper gifted her a bat as a gesture towards his admirer. She immediately posted a picture on social media and stated that she cannot wait to use the beast and start training with it.

“Back training this week. Can’t wait to use this beast ????? Thanks @imVkohli #ping #middlesbiggerthanme ?”

After Wyatt’s congratulatory message, Indian fans couldn’t help but remind her of the tweet from 2014 and also assumed how she’d have reacted to the news of her crush getting married to someone else.

Here are some of the funniest replies:

Virat and Anushka after dating for over a couple of years decided it was time to take the relationship to the next level. As they are both megastars in their professions, it would’ve been a huge chaos had they organized the wedding in India, thus to keep away from public eye and enjoy the wedding experience, Virushka travelled to Italy with their families and got married in a private ceremony yesterday.
