The dynamic Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli turned a year older on Tuesday. The cricket fraternity from around the world wished him for a healthy and successful year ahead. Virat Kohli’s Indian teammates also wished him luck for his journey ahead. For the record, Kohli was not in India when he celebrated his 31st birthday. He was enjoying the beautiful scenery of Bhutan with his better half being in a vacation mood.

The best wishes were pouring on his social media handles especially Twitter which is the most popular social media platform when it comes to celebrity interactions. On the very next day, i.e. Wednesday, the ICC ODI cricketer of the year personally took to his Twitter handle to thank all the well-wishers who wished him on his special day.

Indian cricket team legend and Virat Kohli’s best friend on and off the field, the stylish southpaw Yuvraj Singh also took to his Twitter account to wish the current Indian cricket superhero a happy birthday in his style. Yuvraj posted a couple of old photos of theirs from which one was when India won the World Cup at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in 2011 and other was off the field when both were seen dancing in a club.

Yuvraj Singh tweets; Virat Kohli responds

Yuvraj Singh wrote, “Yeh bhi din they! Aur ek aaj ka din hai! Jahan bhi ho khush raho, God bless you always! Happy birthday, @imVkohli.” (Those were the days! And now this is the day! Wherever you are stay happy! God bless you always! Happy birthday).

On which the Indian skipper replied in Punjabi saying, “Uparwaale ke diye sab din mehr hain paji. Rab rakha. Lots of love to you always” (Everyday has been a blessing by the almighty’s grace. May God protects us)

Right now, India is hosting Bangladesh in a three-match T20 International series. Having lost the opening match, the team must be missing their go-to batsman, Kohli as he has been given a much-needed rest by the team management. Though he will return to captain the side in the two-match Test series which is going to take place immediately after the conclusion of the ongoing T20I series.
