Rising Pune Supergiants new recruit Usman Khawaja is all set to play his first IPL game but had a bit of concern ahead of his IPL journey. Khawaja posted an image of his RPS jersey with a misprint name. The jersey had the name ‘Khwaja’ written on it, which is a typo error of his name ‘Khawaja’.
He posted the picture on his official Facebook and Twitter handles. Usman Khawaja had earlier posted another tweet expressing his excitement about playing in the IPL. He mentioned he is very excited to get the taste of IPL.

Khawaja was roped in as a replacement for an injured Kevin Pietersen. Kevin Pietersen had injured his ankle on the field and had to limp his way out of the ground. He was later ruled out for the remainder of the season.
The Rising Pune Supergiants were keen on roping the Aussie opener and finally announced him as the replacement. Khawaja joined the squad recently and is most likely to make his debut against Delhi Daredevils at Delhi. Another Australian, George Bailey, was also named as a replacement for injured Faf du Plessis and he joined the squad too. He is also likely to make his debut for the franchise in the same match.
Earlier Usman had gone unsold at the IPL auctions this year and this had raised a lot of eyebrows. Given the kind of form he was in, scoring two centuries in the Big Bash League, he was tipped to make it big in the IPL auctions.
Looks like Pune were expecting 'Khwaja' to come play. I better go home ?. #typo #pune #IPL #india #cricket #delhi pic.twitter.com/fdkcSph7TM
