Vinod Kambli lauds Rahul Gandhi after he hugs the Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Kambli has been very active on social media recently.
Vinod Kambli has lauded Rahul Gandhi, the President of the Indian National Congress after he hugged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha on Friday. Lok Sabha is witnessing its first no-confidence vote against Mode-led NDA Government and the opposition is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that they win the debate. In such an attempt, Rahul hugged Modi stating he doesn’t hate him which left Lok Sabha in splits.
Kambli who had joined the politics back in 2009 loved his gesture and showered praises on Rahul. The former Indian cricketer was part of Lok Bharati Party and had contested elections from Vikhroli in Mumbai. Unfortunately, he lost the elections and since then has been busy doing the social work.
He came up with a tweet for Rahul Gandhi after his gesture in Lok Sabha and felt that he spoke his heart out in front of everyone. “#NoConfidenceMotion. @RahulGandhi. What an inning played by you, Rahul Gandhi. You really spoke your heart out there. What a wonderful sight, you hugged Modi Ji. You ended it with Dignity!” his tweet read.
Kambli active on Twitter
Vinod Kambli has been very much active on social media these days and is trying to interact with his followers. He was also delighted recently that Arjun Tendulkar, son of his close friend Sachin Tendulkar, took his maiden wicket in the debut game for India U19. He is currently in Sri Lanka to play in a couple of four-day matches and impressed everyone by picking a wicket only in the second over of his spell.
Kambli was extremely happy to see him succeed in his first ever match for India U19 and congratulated him on Twitter. However, Arjun didn’t trouble the scoreboard with the bat and bagged an 11-ball duck. He would be keen to improve in the second and final game of the series now.
