Vinod Kambli set to launch of his rap single

Vinod Kambli is best known for his historic partnership with Sachin Tendulkar. Kambli scored 349 runs in their stand worth 664 before their coach Ramakant Acharekar forced the pair to declare the innings. The southpaw was one of the best over-the-top hitters of spin bowling and was pipped to be the next big thing in Indian cricket. However, Kambli did not become what was expected of him and he played his last test match when he was 23 and featured in only 104 ODIs. He had the highest career batting average for an Indian Test cricketer of 54.

Post-retirement, Kambli has been appearing in various shows as a cricket expert, participated in reality shows and has, has acted in a few daily soaps and Bollywood films as an actor. Though he retired from the game a long time ago, Kambli has always remained in headlines. On Sunday, the former cricketer took to his official Twitter account to announce that he has stepped into the singing world. He also shared a teaser video of his single song wherein he can be seen grooving like a rap artist.

Kambli tweeted:”Dear friends my Single song will be launching soon.” The teaser video has created excitement among the fans and they are eager for the release of the full song. Kambli is a fan-favorite and his fans support him in all his endeavors.
