Virat Kohli exchanges love with sister Bhawna on Raksha Bandhan day
Virat shared an adorable picture on Twitter showing the siblings celebrating an occasion by cutting a cake.
She has one of the busiest and famous brothers, time and distance couldn’t separate them from sharing their mutual love on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli on Sunday (August 26) posted on social media an old photograph of him celebrating with his sister Bhawna Kohli Dhingra as a little kid. The letter replied back with a similar affection, showing superstar Kohli is still his sister’s dearie brother.
Kohli, who is leading Team India in a five-Test series against England in their den, shared an adorable picture on Twitter showing the siblings celebrating an occasion by cutting a cake, years ago. Kohli also wished all on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan apart from his sister. His photo was liked almost 68,000 times and retweeted almost 4,500 times at the time of writing this report.
Sister calls her brothers ‘pillars’
Bhawna was quick to respond with her sisterly love and she tweeted saying whether they were living near or far, her affection for brothers Vikas (their elder brother) and Virat is “infinite”. She called both of her brothers as her “pillars”.
“No matter if we are near or far my love for you is infinite Both of you Vikas and Virat are my pillars I know you got my back love you loads missing you too,” Bhawna wrote. Both of Kohli’s elder siblings – Vikas and Bhawna – are married.
Kohli is in the middle of a crucial Test series in England. Three of five Tests scheduled in the series have been completed with India trailing 1-2. Kohli led from the front to help his team win the third Test at Trent Bridge by 203 runs after facing losses in the first Test at Edgbaston and Lord’s. Indian fans are now even hoping that India would be able to turn the tables in the fourth Test in Southampton starting August 30 and eventually go on to win the series 3-2.
Kohli himself has amassed 440 runs in the series so far with two centuries and has completely buried the ghosts of the failure of the England series of 2014.
