Indian skipper Virat Kohli might come across as a tough character on the cricket field where he comes hard at the opposition and doesn’t let anyone get an edge ahead of him but he is a very soft hearted person otherwise. The Indian team wrapped up the only Test against Bangladesh on February 13 and the team now has a week in hand before the assemble again for their campaign against Australia. Today (February 15) Virat posted a picture with girlfriend Anushka Sharma on Instagram since it was Valentine’s Day yesterday.

The caption Virat used was – “Everyday is a valentine day if you want it to be. You make everyday seem like one for me ❤❤. @anushkasharma”

The duo who are at the top of their respective professions found time out for each other and in the picture, Virat and Anushka are sitting on the grass with woods around looks like a secluded place with nobody to disturb them.

Here is Virat’s Instagram post:

While the cricketer has been busy with national duties Anushka has also been pretty tied up with promotions for her upcoming movie ‘Phillauri’ in which she plays a ghost. At a promotional event when a journalist asked her about Valentine’s Day and how she plans to spend it the actor had said, “I think it’s stupid to begin with. I will be shooting and I didn’t even remember it was around until you mentioned. I think it’s quite a silly day because love shouldn’t just be for one day it should be every day and constant so I don’t believe in Valentine’s Day.”

Earlier this month Anushka after being targeted by a certain segment of the media slammed the reporters and media houses running stories that suggested her latest movie was produced by Virat. “By making such bogus claims and validating this rubbish by your so called ‘source’, not only are you disrespecting me & the hard work I have put in over the years to be where I am, but also, all the people who have worked on this film. Freedom of press comes with accountability & your fake sources are never accounted for.”

I have always led my career with dignity & often chose to maintain a dignified silence on many untruthful stories, that doesn’t mean you can take my silence as my weakness and say anything without checking with me or my team!” Anushka had said.
