Virat Kohli flaunts his abs at Jolly beach along with Rohit Sharma and others
The duo has been having great fun prior to the Test series versus the Windies.
Over the last few days, speculations of a rift between Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper and Rohit Sharma, the limited-overs vice-captain have been doing rounds. The rumors sparked last year when Rohit unfollowed Virat on Instagram. India’s semi-final exit from the 2019 World Cup added fuel to fire in the talks of their souring relationship. It was reported that the team was divided into a couple of halves.
There was one part supporting Virat even as the other was in favour of Rohit. Thereafter, Rohit boycotted Anushka Sharma, Virat’s better-half on Instagram, and it deepened the notions that Rohit and Virat don’t share the greatest of camaraderie. Just after Rohit unfollowed her from the social media platform, Anushka shared an Instagram story, which was apparently directed at Rohit.
India are currently in the West Indies where they have already taken part in the T20I and ODI series. Prior to the journey, Kohli and Ravi Shastri, the Indian head coach, attended a press conference where the former cleared the clouds. Kohli said that he was absolutely baffled by the talks. Kohli rubbished all the rumours, saying that there’s no rift between him and the vice-captain.

The visitors are next scheduled to play a two-match Test series, starting at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. Before the series, the team is enjoying to the fullest. In the meantime, Kohli posted a picture with his teammates on Instagram, which also featured Rohit, though he was a bit far away from Virat. He captioned the photo and wrote, “Stunning day at the beach with the boys ”
Here is Virat Kohli’s post
Rohit was in jaw-dropping form in the World Cup, having scored five centuries. But in the Caribbean Islands, the right-hander hasn’t been able to show consistency. The Mumbai batsman is a part of the Test squad and he’ll be looking to prove a point and cement his position in red-ball cricket as well.
Virat, on the other hand, after a string of fifty-plus scores in the World Cup, scored back-to-back tons in the ODI series versus Jason Holder and Co. He’ll be going into the Test series as the ICC number-one ranked Test batsman, being nine rating points ahead of the ever so consistent Steve Smith.
