Virat Kohli is better than Sachin Tendulkar: Australian Cricketers

The Indian Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his 45th birthday on Tuesday and received a lot of wishes from his fans across the world. The Wankhede crowd made his day more memorable and wished him with a birthday song. But, this birthday turned out to be a nightmare for Sachin as he was humiliated on two different occasions. First, the Mumbai Indians disappointed him with a defeat against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Next, he was embarrassed by few Australian Cricketers. What happened? On the occasion of Sachin’s birthday, the official website of the Australian Cricket team conducted a survey about the Little Master and King Kohli. They interviewed five Australian cricketers and asked them to choose “who is best”. Later, the official Facebook page of the Australian Cricket team posted a video which declared the results of the survey. The one-minute video clip featured the replies of Peter Handscomb, Josh Hazlewood, Michael Swepson, Matthew Renshaw and Steven O’Keefe. Their replies gave a slight disappointment for the Sachin’s fans as the current Indian skipper edged over the God of Cricket. Three of the five players picked Virat and the other two picked the Master Blaster. Kohli is the best Peter Handscomb was the first one to answer the question and he selected Virat Kohli ahead of Sachin. He praised Kohli’s consistency and stated that his drive lifts everyone in the team. To give a fight, his teammate Josh Hazlewood picked Tendulkar for his records and termed him as the best. Kohli again went past Sachin as Michael Swepson chose the Indian Captain for his timing and hard hitting. Then, Matt Renshaw came to rescue the birthday boy and picked the 45-year old for his all-round performance over the years. Finally, Steve O Keefe picked Virat and helped him to win the survey 3-2. Virat has been breaking lot of records lately and most of the fans believe that he is the next Sachin. In another few years, he might become the leading run scorer in International Cricket and could prove that he is better than Tendulkar.
