Virat working on his cut after perfecting the pull shot
As the Indian tour of South Africa is just a couple of weeks away, Rajkumar Sharma admitted that there wasn’t much time left. “We have very little time now, but there’s still a week for practice. We will work on his batting,” he said.
Sharma also mentioned that the matting wickets in the academy had helped Kohli deal against the short ball.
“Virat is very good at the pull shot and now he’s working on the cut. As a young player, he was fortunate to play on matting wickets at the academy and those pitches helped him deal with short deliveries well. That is why he is comfortable against the short stuff and is not scared of anybody,” he was quoted as saying by Midday.
Virat is a typical Punjabi guy who loves dancing
Speaking about Kohli’s marriage in Italy, Rajkumar revealed that it was a tremendous affair at Tuscany. He even mentioned shaking a leg with the Indian skippers and described him as a typical Punjabi guy.
“Virat was very happy to introduce his life partner to us. He really enjoyed dancing with Anushka Sharma and the rest of us. He is a typical Punjabi guy who loves dancing. I was lucky to be in Tuscany. It was a tremendous marriage, a family affair along with very close friends.” he added.
