Virat Kohli trips over while attempting a soccer free kick
Comedian Abish Mathew was also present at the location.
Ace Indian batsman Virat Kohli recently had a minor injury scare off the field. Kohli is one of the most popular cricketers in the country who is passionate about his fitness. Also, cricket is not the only sport that Kohli fancies. He is a football fan too. And recently, at a shoot for a show, Kohli was asked to show off his football skills.
The star Indian cricketer obliged and accepted the request made by the show producers. It was a cemented track where Virat Kohli was expected to take a free kick. In the turn of events that followed, Kohli ended up tripping over whilst attempting the kick. Kohli, who is righty by birth, found his left foot not cooperating well enough and hence bumped on to the floor.
Much to the relief of the organizer, the fans, and Kohli himself, this did not cause a big problem for Virat. He was fine after bumping down on the floor and could also afford a smile. Meanwhile, Abish Mathew, one of the Indian stand-up comedians, who was also a part of the shoot, was seen rushing to Virat Kohli to see if everything was alright.
Both gentlemen had a good laugh about it and they moved ahead with the shoot. The video of the entire episode recently went viral in the media and the fans are sharing it big time.

Commenting on the on-field scenes, the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore is struggling in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. They are almost out of the race for the playoffs. After the conclusion of the IPL, the Indian team will be hosting Afghanistan in a historic Test in Bengaluru. Kohli has opted to give the match a miss.
The Indian captain will instead fly to England for his maiden County stint with Surrey. He will play for Surrey for a month before team India will face off against England in England for a full tour.
