Virat Kohli’s passion for game makes him look aggressive on field; actually he’s not, says Anushka Sharma
The actor seemed irked when asked about his pregnancy.
She is Indian cricket’s First Lady and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma is perfectly fine with her husband Virat Kohli’s conduct on the ground. The 31-year-old Anushka was in the headlines recently for posting a cryptic message after ace batsman Rohit Sharma unfollowed her on Instagram. There are reports about Kohli’s rift with Sharma in the dressing room and Anushka’s mysterious message added more fuel to that.
Even during the World Cup in England, reports said Anushka and Ritika Sajdeh, wife of Rohit, hadn’t seen eye to eye to make things worse. However, Anushka’s relation with her husband hasn’t been affected by all this. The duo, who got married in Italy in December 2017, has been seen asserting their mutual love and admiration on a number of occasions. Kohli has even heard saying many times that Anushka helped him manage his temper.
But recently, Anushka spoke about Kohli’s on field gestures and said things are completely opposite with him when he is off the ground. On it, his passion for the game makes him look aggressive which, according to the actor, is not the case in actual life.
“He’s (Kohli) one of the calmest persons I’ve met. Off the field, he’s so relaxed. You can ask my friends, my team. He’s like that on a field only because he’s so passionate. He’s not aggressive in real life. That’s only his demeanour on the field. He’s the most shaant person I know. I look at him and I’m like, ‘Wow! You’re so chill,” Anushka was quoted as saying in an interview to Filmfare.
Speaking about her relationship with Kohli, one of the best batsmen India have produced, Anushka said: “I’m married to my best friend. I’m married to my confidante. I’m married to someone I love so dearly just because of the human being that he is.”
Pregnancy question irks Anushka
Anushka, who hasn’t signed her next project after the release of her latest film ‘Zero’ that got released last December, has also been asked question on whether she is pregnant. The actor seemed irked with such a query and said such questions are asked after an actor gets married. “You should allow people to live their life. What’s the need to jump the gun? Then put someone in a position where they end up clarifying unnecessarily. What irks me is the clarification part. Do I need to clarify? Nahi!” she was quoted as saying.
