Virender Sehwag was back in action on twitter to wish Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli on his birthday. It was the birthday of the golden boy of Indian cricket and quite obviously it came as no surprise that Sehwag celebrated his birthday in his unique style along with other thousands of fans and well-wishers. Kohli, India’s supreme run machine, born today in the year 1988, turns 28 years old. #HappyBirthdayVirat is currently trending on Twitter and wishes are pouring in like crazy.

Sehwag, just like any other cricket fan, was awake till 12 to wish his former teammate. Here’s his tweet: “8 yrs ago we cud have dedicated this day by eating Chikoo. But tday,I think all auto/taxis shud start their Meter frm100”

Sehwag, who now a sort of twitter humorist, has always given hilarious nicknames to various cricketers. He did nothing different while wishing Virat and called him as ‘Chikoo’ which is Virat’s nickname. The nicknames, which is now very famous, was given to him by his junior coach, referring to the famous ‘Champak’ series, which had ‘Chikoo’ as a popular character.

Moreover, Sehwag also says that Auto and Taxis must start their meters with Rs 100. This ‘Punch line’ obviously indicates Kohli’s habits of scoring centuries. Right since his debut, the Delhi batsman has been making waves at in the international circuit.

Gaining attention by leading the 2008 Under-19 team to junior world cup glory, Kohli quickly made a transition to the national team and carved a permanent place in short time. 2016, in particular, will go down as Kohli’s year as the stylish right-hander elevated his game to a new level in all three formats.
