Virender Sehwag gets trolled after expressing his desire to become selector
This could've probably been a promotional tweet.
Virender Sehwag is one of the most active cricketers on Social Media. The guy regularly keeps posting hilarious stuff regarding cricket and other affairs of the world. The Delhi-born cricketer has a very different way of wishing birthday to his colleagues and there have been several occasions when he has trolled many other cricketers in a hilarious way.
Viru has about 20 million followers on Twitter and has done quite a lot of monetization from it hitherto. According to a report of 2017, the former Indian batsman had earned more than 30 lacs rupees in 6 months, with the help of his satirical posts and memes. Not only the money, but he has also got a lot of fame all over the world with the help of Social Media.
Quite recently, Sehwag posted a sarcastic tweet, wherein, he cheekily expressed his wish to become a selector. The Indian selectors have received very heavy criticism in recent times because of their inability to confidently back a player and select a stable team.
Hence, as a result, Virender Sehwag was perhaps taking a sly dig at the Indian selectors. BCCI is yet to reveal the future of the current national selection committee which is led by MSK Prasad. The right-handed batsman, who hardly cares about how the media portrays him, wrote in his tweet, “Mujhe Selector banna hai… Kaun mujhe mauka dega? #theselector.” (I want to become a selector… who’ll give me a chance?)
Here is the tweet
This could’ve probably been a promotional tweet. However, the 40-year-old was trolled in a simultaneous evolution of this tweet. He received lots of memes and other jokes as a reply to his tweet, in which, he expressed his desire of becoming the national selector of the Indian team.
He had also asked the fans to help him in this cause, nonetheless, the ace batsman was brutally trolled. Although, he is very much unlikely to affect Viru’s mindset as he has always had different modus operandi for such things and rarely cares about the trolls.
Here, we’ll have some of those tweets, wherein, Virender Sehwag was trolled
