Virender Sehwag unveils Maratha Arabians jersey ahead of the T10 Cricket League

The T10 Cricket League is all set to commence from the 14th of December at Sharjah. Various former and current international cricketers are expected to take part in the tournament. It would run for a span of four days.

The Maratha Arabians today unveiled their jersey today in a media press conference at Mumbai. Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag and actor Sohail Khan graced the occasion with their presence as the Maratha Arabians launched their jersey.

The tournament is all set to see various international players compete against each other. In what is supposed to be a first of it’s kind ten over tournament, the cricketers are really excited at the prospect of playing the league.

Other than Maratha Arabians, there are five other teams that will feature in the tournament. It includes Pakhtoons, Bengal Tigers, Kerala Kings, Punjabi Legends and Colombo Lions. The Colombo Lines was the latest team to join the tournament as part of the Sri Lanka franchise.

Around 60 players from all over the world have been chosen by the teams. Big names such as Virender Sehwag, Shahid Afridi, Eoin Morgan, Kumar Sangakkara and Shakib Al Hasan were included in the icon category. Likewise, Sehwag is the icon player for the Maratha Arabians.

The current Maratha Arabians squad boasts of a sensational lineup with likes of Alex Hales, Lendl Simmons, Mohammed Amir etc. They have found a responsible coach and mentor in the form of Pakistani fast bowling great Wasim Akram. He was also the bowling coach of Kolkata Knight Riders for a considerable period. Here’s a look at their full squad.
