Virender Sehwag has been a trend on Twitter because of his witty comments and tweets on the social media platform. Everyone in the cricket fraternity is familiar with the Nawab of Najafgarh’s hilarious tweets and his ability to roast fellow celebrities.
Virender Sehwag has also hit a pro level in wishing people on their birthday’s in his own style. The cricketer who has been an entertainer for years wearing the blue Indian colours still continues to be entertainer off the field.
The main story:
Former England international Kevin Pietersen celebrated his 37th birthday on 27th June, that was yesterday. Virender Sehwag grabbed the opportunity and greeted his former Delhi Daredevils teammate which can be termed as an act of laziness. Sehwag retweeted his tweet on the same occasion from last year and congratulated the Englishman on turning a year older.
Though Sehwag did not make an effort to write a fresh new line for Pietersen, his tweet was hilarious as ever. The tweet read “A very happy birthday @KP24. When we used to play for Delhi,I always thought, This KP will send the ball to CP”. For all, you need to know CP refers to a popular place in New Delhi, which goes by the name of Connaught Place. The tweet also had a picture attached with it where then-teammates Pietersen, Sehwag, Ross Taylor and Mahela Jayawardene can be seen sharing the screen.

Virender Sehwag is currently a favourite to become the head coach of the Indian cricket team along with Ravi Shastri. Sehwag’s aggressive approach towards the game is a plus point and is similar to that of previous coach Anil Kumble who tasted success in his tenure as the coach.
