This time it is the turn of the former Indian legend Laxman who is celebrating his 42nd birthday. His hilarious birthday wish to the ‘very very special’ cricketer is trending currently which is being loved his followers.
Viru is already in the headlines since Tuesday as Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) renamed the gate number 2 of Ferozshah Kotla Stadium as ‘virender sehwag’ gate. The inauguration of the gate was done ahead of the first T20 International between India and New Zealand on Wednesday. The former Indian opener was also present for the event and expressed his happiness for being honoured in such a way.
Viru’s birthday wish
Virender Sehwag usually doesn’t miss out on wishing any cricketers and especially those who are his former teammates. Laxman and Sehwag have shared the dressing for a long time and the camaraderie between the two has continued to grow even off the field. Sehwag termed him as the magician of the wrist and the brother in his wish and also entitled his art of playing the strokes with a flick of wrists to a Bollywood song.
Viru, in his tweet, wrote, “Wishing #WristJaadugar & Bhrata Shri @VVSLaxman281 a very happy birthday. Can calm any situation with a flick of his wrists.Chitiyan Kalaiyan.” The birthday boy too was quick in his reply and thanked Sehwag for his wish. He replied, “Thank you very much for your wishes, Viru.” The duo is currently busy in doing the commentary in the ongoing limited-overs series between India and New Zealand.
